Do I have to be lovey-dovey with someone to give chocolate to them? Because I don't think it's fair! I believe we all have to celebrate it and give chocolate to everyone, even people we don't know! Because everyone deserves love, right? [ A determinate look on her face. ] That's why I'm gonna send chocolate to all of the world! I'm gonna do it! Who's with me?

[ ... But then, she pauses, looking up as a sudden thought comes to mind. ] But Nokémon can't eat chocolate... is that true? Then we'll have to make an alternative chocolate kind of thingy for them! Any suggestion is welcome, okay? I'm waiting here for all day!

That's going a bit overboard, don't you think? Even the one year I gave chocolate out on Valentine's I only gave it to people I knew... Anymore than that and it would just be a drop in quality for the chocolate!

... ah, and Pokemon can definitely eat it. In fact my Lucario will do pretty much anything to get her hands on some sweets... Though she prefers hard candy over chocolate.

Well... they technically can eat chocolate, but it's not really good for them. Sometimes CheepCheep steals my candy bars, but he only holds down a bite.

[She giggles.] You can always make chocolate-flavored pokémon snacks. But Valentine's day is when you're supposed to give chocolates to the person you like! Or friendship chocolates to everyone.

[She seems so cheerful with the idea of giving everyone chocolates... France isn't going to put a damper on it for once; hopefully someone else will talk sense.]

You can use carob as a substitute for cocoa powder when making chocolates. Although some of my pokemon certainly can eat chocolate, I haven't tried with a couple who have more sensitive stomachs.

You can give chocolates to whoever you want. There's no rule about giving it just to someone that you like.
