[ Today you'll see a definitely more cheerful Menma, who waves at the screen frantically. She's sitting on the couch, with all her Pokémon plopped around her, either asleep or loofing around - her Ponyta is safely sitting on the floor at her feet. Her Petilil is perched on the girl's head. ]

Merry merry Christmas, everyone!!! [ Obligatory shout to the network. Did you miss happy Menma, guys? ]

I hope you're not hurt, after what happened. It was very scary, but we're all okay now! And Santa came to visit me, but I couldn't see him because I fell asleep! [ And there she pouts, seriously disappointed in herself for not being able to stay up. ] But he left me something under my bed! Look at this!

[ From below the screen, she picks up what looks like a white egg with some colored spots.

Menma places it on her lap. ]

He gave me a Nokémon! Does any of you know what it is? Don't tell me, though, I want it to be surprise! Just tell me if you think I'm gonna like it! ... Now that I know about it, Santa should know what I like after all!

[ Hmmm... she hums briefly, thinking of what to say next. ] ... Ah! And I also made some cookies for everyone! I only followed a recipe [ which she couldn't read well ], but I think they came out fantastic! If you want them, come here at the Breeding Centre in Goldenrod and you'll get them. I'll be waiting for you, ok? Love you all!

[ With a last wave, she turns the camera off. ]

Christmas wasn't really a holiday my family celebrated, so Santa wasn't even really someone I heard about.

Ooooh. I thought everyone likes Christmas... [ That's such hard news for someone like her. ]

It's not that I don't like it, it's just not something I ever celebrated. At least not in the way that involves Santa.

Did you ever think that you could start celebrating it, though?

... Not really? I mean, I guess there's no reason why I couldn't.

It's just not something I've ever really thought about doing.

Well, there's a first time for everything! It would be a good thing if you thought about it, right?

... Especially with people here getting me presents anyway. I'm probably going to have to start doing that next year just to not feel weird.
