I guess you all saw that fog the past days? That was so scary! I couldn't even see my feet. [ After saying that, she feels the urge to kick one of her feet up, as if wanting to emphasize her point. ] Is it always like this around here? There were ghost Nokémon everywhere! I tried to catch some of them because were cute, but I could get only one in the end. Here Poppo, say hi!

[ She stretches her arm out of the screen, to pull a Drifloon towards herself. The baloon Pokemon blinks at the camera, and makes some noise before trying to float out of view again. Menma giggles, letting it go. ]

Don't mind him, he's shy- but did you see how cute he is? I'm so proud of taking him with me. I named him after one of the Super Peace Busters, too! Anyway, I also have a question! [ She takes a moment to clear her voice, ready to say something of vital importance! ] ... Where can I find a bike? Walking is fun, but biking is even more fun and I really really want to buy a bike right now! Can anyone help me with that, please?

Can't you just sit on their back and ride on the roads? Maria's been riding for a bit on Angetaro before!

A girl told me we can buy bikes in Goldenrod. Is that close to where you are?

Yes! Fly and Surf are Nokemon moves, you get those when you beat the Gym leaders! [ Is Maria a newbie too...? That can't be possible, right? Menma's confused. ]

Sit on their back? But I'm heavy! I don't wanna hurt them!

Golden... rod? [ Let her think about it, and then pull out the map, trying to decipher it.

She sounds kind of lost in her reply. ]

Uh... it's not that far. I think.

You'd just have to get there, then. But I have no idea how expensive they'd be, considering the prices of everything else.

[ You're so confusing, Memna, what are you even talking about?! She's just going to focus on the part she can understand here.. ]

But some of them are pretty big, right? Maria's sure the big ones wouldn't mind, they wouldn't even feel it much!

But the Nokemon I caught so far are not that big. [ Well there's the Ponyta she bought the other day, but... ]

How much do you think they will cost? Even if I beat other trainers and get more money, I wouldn't want to deal with a high price when I find a bike...

Maybe you could work a week or two to pay for it? The people at the Pokémart don't mind giving us work, and the work itself is not so bad.

You could stock shelves. It's not particularly difficult, and they have stepladders for the higher ones. I don't think being a kid would be a problem, and it'd give you more than 'Mom's' pocket money.

[ She doesn't drag the words out of mockery; she's just genuinely surprised that she didn't know something like that. ]

In the Pokémart, you said? That one shop where they sell those balls and such?

That's the one. You just need to ask the shop owner, and then all you have to do is put more pokéballs and potions on the shelves, unless you'd rather greet clients.

About the bikes, I'm not sure if you've been told already, but there is a bike store in Goldenrod. If not, asking one of your pokémon for a ride is always an option.

Someone told me about it, but it seems to be a little far from here! And I think I don't have enough money. [ She deflates a little. Juuust a little. ] Maria said I can ride a Nokémon, but I'm not sure if any of my Nokémon can do that sort of thing!

It depends on the pokémon you have. Some of them can carry people surprisingly easily if you ask nicely.

I did! Are you her friend too? All Maria's friends are my friends too! [ Not like she wouldn't want to be friends with ALL THE PEOPLE already, here. ] I'm Menma, what's your name?

You probably could, and from talking with them you could learn where the most interesting Pokémon can be found, or the prettiest flowers. It'd be worth it.
